The Inclusive Workplace Award (IWA) is delivered in partnership with a local Supported Employment service. The Supported Employment service works with you (the employer) throughout the process and you are both free to negotiate the nature of that relationship. You are guided through the process by SUSE, which does not interfere with any negotiations taking place between the you (the employer) and the Supported Employment service. There is a cost associated with the IWA. For new awards this is £1400 and to renew an award this is £700. Following sign-up we will send an invoice to you, which is to be paid within 30 days of date of invoice. Once payment is received we will continue to process your IWA application. To complete the award for the first time, it is mandatory to participate in appropriate training delivered by SUSE or a Supported Employment provider. This is normally a half day training course either in-person or online for up to 12 people. To be presented with your IWA at the SUSE Annual Conference, your application should be completed and signed-off before 31st March. You are permitted to display the IWA logo if you have a valid award. Awards are valid for 2 years from the date of sign-off. You are welcome to renew your IWA application before the 2 years.
